Bedřich Smetana Apartment

The Suites sited within the former castle brewery, and it was here that the composer Bedřich Smetana was born on 2nd March 1824. The brewery forms a part of the premises of Litomyšl Castle, which is inscripted in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

The Suite consists of four rooms, a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. The rooms have period furniture, and in the two bedrooms there are four beds. In the kitchen diner there is a cooker, microwave, refrigerator and basic kitchen equipment and in the living room there is a sofa, a bookshelf, a television and DVD player, wi-fi.  

There is a grocer's shop opposite the brewery, the city centre is approximately 300 m on foot, and parking is available on the castle premises under the Suite window (the car park is unguarded, but is locked at night).
